Man Utd suffer transfer blow as top target in Italy decides to sign contract extension

Premier League giants Manchester United have suffered setback in their pursuit of  their top target Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

The Serie A club President Jim Pallotta confirms “it’s done” for Nainggolan’s contract extension.

The Belgium international midfielder had a 40-minute summit with directors last night and emerged smiling to speak with fans.

Nainggolan is expected to sign over the next few days, according to Football Italia.

It’ll be a deal to June 2021 worth €4m per year.

He had been of interest to Chelsea, Manchester United and Inter.

Pallotta also stated that the team’s pre-season tour will be in China next year.
