Bundelisga giants Borussia Dortmund claim they have not received any offer from Chelsea amid reports the Premier League champions are keen to sign the striker.
The Blues want to replace their Atletico Madrid-bound striker Diego Costa and there have been speculations that the pacy Gabon international is a top target for the role.
The Chinese transfer window has now closed, so it’s believed to be a straight fight between AC Milan – his former club – and Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.
But Dortmund have warned Chelsea and the Rossoneri they can only “wait a few more days” for an offer to come in for Aubameyang.
“We have not received any offers for the player,” insisted CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke in Welt am Sonntag.
“We will wait a few more days, but not for much longer than that. Personally, I’d be happy if Pierre were to remain.
“Obviously there are clubs in the world where Aubameyang could earn more than he does here.”
According to Football Italia, the Gabon international’s agent has asked for €10m per year wages.
The transfer fee is also a problem, as Borussia Dortmund want €80m and there are reports Milan’s proposal is so far €60m.
